Edisto Beach

This weekend we celebrated Matt's birthday at the beach! This trip was also Anna's first to Edisto Island (which is where our family spends most of their leisure time!) :) The family, food, and weather were perfect!

Anna's 1st Feeding

Last night we decided to give Anna some applesauce to see her reaction to "real" food. I was anticipating her to not eat much of it or push it out with her tongue. But, instead she devoured a whole half a jar and would get impatient if the spoon didn't come back fast enough! Haha! She really handled eating off the spoon well for her first time. It was messy....but absolutely hilarious! At one point in time she sneezed during the feeding and applesauce went everywhere. :)

Four Months Old!

Anna turned four months old yesterday! It is so hard to believe! She is growing daily and seems to learn something new every time I look at her. :) Yesterday we had her four month old appointment (including the dreaded shots). She now weighes 13lbs 9oz. and is 26 inches long! Matt and I are excited because we were told by her pediatrician that it is now ok to start giving her cereals and baby food! Yay! We are looking forward to the experience of "spoon feeding" and getting to see her reactions to different foods. Matt and I are so blessed that our baby girl is doing so well and is just absolutely PERFECT!

Trying out new toys!

We decided to see if Anna was ready to try out her activity bouncer tonight. She normally spends most of her "playtime" on her playmat on the floor, but it was about time to try something new! She loved it! She really enjoyed the fact that her play seat bounced!

When she gets a little bigger, she can make the seat bounce even higher by pushing off with her feet. :)
