First night and more photos

We had a pretty smooth first night last night. She woke up about every hour since she has her days and nights a little confused. She has been eating really well and we are thankful for that. She did get about three hours of consecutive sleep. She is such a sweet baby!

Car Ride and Arrival Home

New Arrival: Anna Kay Baker

We are happy to say that our "bundle of joy" happily arrived yesterday, April 25th, at 12:23pm. She is doing absolutely wonderful! We have had the experience of a lifetime and are so very blessed! Matt and I are both pretty exhausted after traveling, worrying, labor and delivery, and then the completion of paperwork. We are overwhelmed by the support we have received from everyone including friends, family, and hospital staff.
Anna will hopefully be discharged from the hospital early Tuesday and we will be home by Tuesday night! I can't wait for everyone to meet her!
I have included a couple of the preliminary pictures that we were able to snap and get transferred to the computer. I will probably take a gazillion more in the next day or so, so keep checking back!

Easter

We had a great Easter! We started our morning off by attending sunrise service. Then we joined the rest of the Baker crew down at David and Jackie's house in the low country. It was an absolutely beautiful day with perfect weather. We had tons of food and everything was delicious!
It's hard to believe that spring break is over and there are basically just eight more weeks of school left. Woo hoo!!!!

Myrtle Beach

A weekend or so ago Matt and I took a little mini vacation to Myrtle Beach and had a great time. We went and visited the outlets, dined at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, and spent a ton of time at Broadway at the Beach. We were fortunate enough to get a place right on the beach for a decent price and enjoyed every minute of it!








This week is spring break and I am enjoying the time off. I have spent some of my time off so far working on our yard and planting flowers. For Easter, we are heading down to the low country to spend some time with David and Jackie and the rest of the Baker crew. We are looking forward to that! I hope everyone has a Happy and Blessed Easter!
