This past weekend we took a trip to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge for a little vacation. We spent the weekend with "Nana", David, and Dana. The leaves were gorgeous! The cabin that we stayed at had a river right behind it so the scenery was amazing. The weather was a bit cold though. We had to stay bundled up most of the time.

Sadly, while we were there, Matt's Uncle Marty passed away after a battle with cancer. We headed home a day early to be with our family. Uncle Marty was a wonderful father, grandfather, brother, uncle, husband, and friend. He will be dearly missed.

While we were down in the low country we were able to stay at the beach house (Thank you again DW!!!!) and Anna got a chance to visit the beach again. :) Anna has done quite a bit of traveling in her short life! We were so glad to be able to all be together during this time.
