Mountains

This past weekend we took a trip to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge for a little vacation. We spent the weekend with "Nana", David, and Dana. The leaves were gorgeous! The cabin that we stayed at had a river right behind it so the scenery was amazing. The weather was a bit cold though. We had to stay bundled up most of the time.

Sadly, while we were there, Matt's Uncle Marty passed away after a battle with cancer. We headed home a day early to be with our family. Uncle Marty was a wonderful father, grandfather, brother, uncle, husband, and friend. He will be dearly missed.

While we were down in the low country we were able to stay at the beach house (Thank you again DW!!!!) and Anna got a chance to visit the beach again. :) Anna has done quite a bit of traveling in her short life! We were so glad to be able to all be together during this time.

Anna went to visit Grandpa at work yesterday and had her first chance at getting into an airplane!

Ok, so getting a picture of a six month old's tiny teeth is a pretty tough job.....but I did capture some cute pics in the process. You can kind of see her teeth in one of these. She has the right one coming in really well, and then another one coming in next to it on the left. :)

First Tooth

I just wanted to update to let you all know that Anna officially has her first tooth!!!!! Yay!!! I'll try to catch a picture of it today and post it. :)

Anna's day in Hampton

Last Wednesday, Matt took Anna to Hampton to help Uncle David and Aunt Jackie move. They had a great time getting to visit with Gran and Granpa who were also there to help out! Anna spent most of her time rolling around the park by Gran in her stroller.

A great weekend!

Tonight we celebrated Jean's birthday! The whole family was there!!!! :) I was so happy to see John David, Marcia, and the boys. My, how David and Harrison have grown! I wish we were able to have a weekly dinner every week!
