Hey! I just thought I'd update a couple pics and a video of little miss in her borrowed swing (we borrowed a swing from Matt's mom until ours gets here). We also learned a new trick....way better than the turn the lights off and her eyes pop open thing. I'd thought I'd share because it is so interesting! So, if a newborn is crying and isn't hungry, needs to be changed etc. if you turn on some white noise (a static radio station works best) then they will instantly be soothed and stop crying. It is so weird and works! Last night, Matt and I were on our way home from Grandma and Grandpa Baker's house and Anna decided she had enough of sitting in her car seat! So, I had read about this whole "white noise" thing and we thought we may as well try it. We found a static channel on the radio and sure enough as soon as she heard the static she stopped crying and was a happy traveler!!! We have now nicknamed that channel "Anna's Channel" in the car. :)

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for letting us borrow the swing! She loves it!

Ok, I'm a mother of 5 and have never heard of that trick. It sure would have been helpful! Man, I guess I'll pass it on to my grandkids when they arrive. :)
