This weekend was packed with activity. Friday night Rebecca (Matt's little sister) had a soccer game, then Saturday night was her Senior prom, and Sunday was Anna Kay's party!!!!!
Her birthday weekend begins!!!!

Aunt Jennifer and Anna (and her cousin on the way....Jenn's expecting a baby in July!)
Her cakes - I made these myself and am super proud! I think by the time she's 10 I may actually get the hang of decorating them. I thought they turned out pretty good considering it was my first attempt. :D
Anna Kay's cake
Down to business......opening presents
A little help from Daddy
More clothes??? Notice the thumb in the mouth and the hand in the diaper....... hilarious!!!!

"Why is everyone singing to me?" This really baffled her!
mmmm cake in one hand, cheezit in the other. Our girl can multi-task!
This was a weekend we will always remember. We have so many amazing memories from the day of April 25th, 2009 and Anna's arrival. From the call at 3am, to the wait, her arrival, and bonding time during the hospital. The day marked an answer to MANY prayers. The day also forged bonds between families and showed that where there is hope and faith there is also love.

P.S. I'm still sorting through pictures and uploading so I'll continue to post pics as I process them. :)

Thank you for this blog! There is no other way possible for us to see Anna as much as we would like to. Wish we could have been there.

It surely was a wonderful weekend. What would we do without family. We have surely enjoyed beyond words our time with our little Anna Kay over this past year. We do so look foreward to so many more years of wonderful memories with her and the family. You said it beautifully in your closing line. There is so much love and so many wonderful blessings to be thankful for. Love you all.
