Two Weeks Old!!!!

It is so hard to believe that Anna is already two weeks old! She is growing so fast. I had to adjust her car seat straps because she is getting taller. Here are a couple pics I snapped today. I'll have a bunch more from tomorrow I'm sure. She is just precious!

More pictures (Imagine that!)

Here are some more pictures that I have taken the past couple of days. We are excited to have Aunt Jackie (my sister in law) come and stay with us for a couple of days. She will be here this afternoon and go with us to the doctor's appointment tomorrow. We have had a great couple of days. Last night was Matt's dad's birthday so everyone came to our house to celebrate. Anna loved it! She got to attend her first birthday party and believe it or not she was awake for a lot of it! She is such a great baby!

Video

We had a pretty lazy weekend. It was nice! Anna has been doing great. She has continued to take 3oz. feedings regularly. She will go back to the doctor this Thursday (I'll post an update so you know what he says) :). We did have a couple visitors this weekend but for the most part it was nice to have a little "family" time. She got another bath and has still decided that they are not fun! Ha! Yesterday, she was the most alert and awake of any day yet. There was one point in time that she stayed awake for a couple hours at a time. We loved it! We got to interact with her and talk with her. I'm going to try to post another video today or tomorrow so you can see her in action. We hope you are all doing well!

Protective Pups

The first few days of having Anna home our dogs stayed with the grandparents for a few days so we could adjust. However, we were both missing them pretty badly, so Matt went and picked them up. Matt brought them home gave them a bath. We introduced one of her old blankets to them first so they could smell her. Then we would hold her so they could see her. They have been so good around Anna (impressively so!). When we are holding her they just sit at our feet and watch. Matt let Patches sit in his lap next to me while I was holding Anna and she delicately licked her foot it was so cute!!! I am so glad that they love her as much as we do. The dogs like to lay wherever she is. It is amazing! Apparently they are very protective of her, if she starts to cry for a bottle Patches will whine. Ha! Patches refuses to leave her. I took some pictures of Patches laying underneath her bassinet. Patches doesn't even want to lay in her bed anymore, just under the bassinet. So cute!

Mommy's Morning Photo Shoot

Ok, so Anna is most active in the morning so I had to get some pictures of her awake and active. Most of the time when visitors are here she is zonked out and no one ever gets to see her pretty eyes! So, here they are!

First Night and more photos

Anna had her first doctor's visit yesterday and she did great! She didn't even cry for the doctor. She didn't particularly care too much for having to take off her clothes to be weighed, but she still was an angel. :) Her doctor said she is healthy and has been eating great! She already weighs her birth weight. No weight loss for those cheeks! After her doctor's appointment she got some visitors....Aunt Jennifer, Pop, Aunt Marcia , and David came over to see her. Later on that night Grandma and Grandpa Baker came over for a bit and she absolutely refused to wake up. She had an eventful day! I took a couple pictures this morning of her and a video so that the grandparents can see their little one actually awake. Her most active hours are in the middle of the night or from about 8am -10. :) She is such a joy!
